Chinese Intellectuals’ Perspectives on Russia's Invasion of Ukraine

The Russia-Ukraine war, its reasons and impact have been discussed by diplomats, politicians intellectuals worldwide. While many accuse the Russian leadership in particular President Vladimir Putin for some others criticize Western countries principally US NATO’s eastward expansion disregarding Russia’s security concerns. Chinese with diverse academic political backgrounds also contributed to these discussions offered their assessments about war Ukraine as well what kind of a policy China should follow. However, because sensitive relationship between authoritarian party-state intellectuals, are delicate situation compared West. Despite this, state’s relatively balanced neutral stance decision not openly taking sides provided ground publicly share thoughts both itself China’s position towards aggression.
